Tetra Pak: High-Capacity Extrusion Wheel For Stick Ice-Cream

Tetra Pak launches its Extrusion Wheel that produces stick ice-cream products with large-sized inclusions, from whole nuts, real fruit segments, to cookie dough chunks at the market’s highest capacity. It uses an innovative vertical rotating design that moves continuously at a synchronised speed to the line—doubling current available capacity.

Reversing the traditional stick ice-cream production method, large inclusions are filled around the stick—maintaining stick position and inclusions’ integrity. The wheel design with moulding cavities ensures uniform product shapes and smooth surfaces. With flexibility to adjust production capacity and tailored for diverse recipes, it can also be added to existing lines, apart from the lowest cost per product in the industry.
