New President For Bosch Packaging Technology

Dr Stefan König’s presidency will be effective from 1 January, 2017.

In his new role, Dr König will oversee Technology (comprising Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality), the Confectionery & Food and Liquid Food business units, as well as Assembly Systems and Special Machinery.

Dr König succeeds Friedbert Klefenz, who will provide consulting to Bosch Packaging Technology before retiring on 30 June, 2017. Mr Klefenz has been president of the company since April 2002.

“We want to thank Mr Klefenz for his years of commitment to the company. We also wish Dr König great success in continuing his predecessor’s great work,” commented Dr Werner Struth, member of the board of the management of Robert Bosch Gmbh.
