Ishida Appoints New Director

Weighing, packaging and inspection equipment manufacturer Ishida Company Limited (Kyoto, Japan) has appointed Hiroshi Sunada new director of Ishida Malaysia to enhance customer support and its operations.

Hiroshi has had sufficient experience and achievement as sales representative in the Southeast Asia region for four years, he will take over the foundation of a stable company that Shingo Itano, former director, has made and will continue to make efforts for customers in Malaysia. Commenting on this appointment, Hiroshi said: “In Malaysia, there are strong needs of factory automation in food manufacturing industry due to the recent labor shortage. We keep boosting customer satisfaction customised turnkey solutions through industry leading technology of weighing, packaging and inspection, and experiences and expertise cultivated in many countries over the years.”

Ishida Malaysia, established as a first subsidiary in Southeast Asia in 1997, has achieved record high sales in three consecutive years and retail scales business is also performing well. Currently 17 employees are engaged in sales and after-sales support.
