PackPrintPlas Philippines 2023 returned for another spectacular show last October.
The 29th edition of PackPrintPlas Philippines 2023 was an exciting three-day event from 5–7 October at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City. This year’s edition of PackPrintPlas Philippines solidified its position as the country’s premier trade show for the packaging, printing, and plastics industries.
Key highlights of PackPrintPlas Philippines 2023 included more than 500 participating brands from packaging, printing, plastics, machinery, and technology. These exhibitors occupied an extensive exhibition space exceeding 10,000 square metres, drawing in 10,872+ trade buyers and visitors.
The trade exhibition showcased technologies and products from both local and international suppliers and manufacturers from countries such as Austria, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Netherlands, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a wide range of sought-after products, including but not limited to large-format printers, industrial printers, lamination equipment, air compressors, engineering plastics, printing machinery, wooden pallets, solar installations, and refrigeration dryers.
Numerous local and international companies have come to participate but the companies such as the Fanuc Philippines Corporation, New Ivex Machinery Corp., and Sansin International Group rose to the top as the Best Booth design awardees. Also, this year PackPrintPlas Philippines introduced the Pro-Planet Practices Award which awarded RNU Trading and Laserclean B.V. to be among the exhibitors that employs sustainable practices with the products and equipment they showcased at the expo.
In keeping with tradition, PackPrintPlas Philippines 2023 organised side-conferences and workshops that provided valuable insights into the packaging, printing, and plastics industries. The Asian Packaging Conference with the theme ‘Sustainability and Innovation’ took place on October 5 and 6. Additionally, events such as the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Seminar, Asian Symposium on Printing Technology, and the 40-hour Basic course for Designated Pollution Control Officers were also held.
PPP 2023 also featured notable industry awards, including the APF Asia Star Awards Night, organised by the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP) and the Asian Packaging Federation (APF). A PPP Networking Night fostered networking opportunities among participants and stakeholders who attended the event.
PackPrintPlas Philippines 2023 was organised by Global-Link MP, the country’s top exhibition, events, and marketing agency, and in collaboration with Messe Dusseldorf Asia Pte Ltd, a regional trade fair group with a history spanning over 20 years.
