Expand Your Global Food Sourcing Network At HKTDC Food Expo

With more than 1,500 suppliers of new and exciting food and beverage products, HKTDC Food Expo will showcase the latest products, services and technologies from companies involved in all sectors of the food and beverage industry such as bakery, dairy, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, meat & poultry, confectionery, seafood, and convenient & instant food—just to name a few. The Expo, held from 16-20 August 2018 (Trade Hall: 16-18 August; Gourmet Zone: 16-19 August; Public Hall: 16-20 August), is an incomparable sourcing event for flavoursome food from around the globe.

Set up for industry buyers, the Trade Hall is dedicated to trade buyers to source food and beverage products. Group pavilions from around the world create an exciting feast of international flavours. Seize this opportunity for sourcing quality food and beverages products! Highlighted in Trade Hall this year are the Halal Food Zone—which showcases sector-specific products—and the Chinese Medicine Zone, which is newly launched to present Chinese medicine, health supplements and related products.

The Public Hall is a firm favourite with local and overseas visitors alike. The hall highlights of the Premium Food Zone houses the latest offerings from famous brands. Daily entertainment programmes will be arranged at Entertainment Stage as part of the special attraction to visitors in Public Hall. The Gourmet Zone will showcase the finest foods and beverages under four different themes: Western Delicacy, Asian Cuisine, Sweet Delight and Green Palate.

A series events and activities will be held throughout the exhibition to entertain both trade and public visitors: trade visitors can attend seminars on market opportunities in the food industry; public visitors can watch star chefs’ cooking demonstrations, play interactive games and join lucky draws.

Four other events are being held concurrently with the HKTDC Food Expo: the HKTDC Hong Kong International Tea Fair (16–18 August), the HKTDC Home Delights Expo (16–20 August), the HKTDC Beauty & Wellness Expo (16–20 August), and the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine & Health Products (16–17 August)—co-organised by the HKTDC and the Modernized Chinese Medicine International Association Ltd. The presence of all of these concurrent events under the same roof enables buyers and exhibitors to take advantage of numerous additional business opportunities.

(This registration is for Food Expo (Trade Hall) and Tea Fair only, which is a dedicated section for trade buyers aged 18 or above from the food & beverage and Tea related industries for sourcing during 16-18 August 2018. The Organiser shall verify the trade identity of registrants and reserves the right to refuse admission of any registrants who are deemed inappropriate. On-site admission fee is HK$100 per person.
