Here are some of the pivotal decarbonisation solutions that will be housed at the STC, including but not limited to: The Electric Dream Ferry, the first fully electric ferry for Singapore and Shell globally, The operational system underpinning the Keppel Bay Tower, Singapore’s first BCA Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy commercial building, New vertical farming and CO2 cold room technologies that address food supply and storage challenges in the world, and The Sønderborg ProjectZero blueprint, recognised by the World Economic Forum and UN Habitat as a “replicable, adaptable and scalable” decarbonization model for cities worldwide”. It is capable of reducing the cost of green transition by up to 50 per cent, and the blueprint has since been adopted by the Singapore Polytechnic as part of its efforts to decarbonise the entire campus in line with Singapore Green Plan goals.
