China Food And Drinks Fair 2018
Wednesday, January 17th, 2018

China sees an increase in FMCG consumption due to rising economic power, urbanisation and the increasing purchasing power of citizens in new tier 1 cities as well as tier 2 and 3 markets.
The China Food and Drinks Fair (CFDF) is the largest show in China focusing on the food and drinks industry. It is held twice a year in March (Spring Edition) and October (Autumn Edition). From 22-24 March 2018, exhibitors flock to Western China International Expo City in Chengdu, China, to evaluate the future development prospects of various tiers of the China market. At present, exhibitors from Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Poland, Russia, and many more have successively confirmed for their attendance at the event.
Value-added activities are the highlight of the event
The value-added activity of “One-to-One Business Matchmaking” is always well received by exhibitors and buyers—an event that has been successfully held for eight sessions. Through this activity, over 90 percent of exhibitors and buyers have reached their sales or purchase order agreement over the past years. Many more exhibitors are determined to cooperate through such trade alignment activities, in which all parties gain fruitful benefits.
Sponsors have indicated that the event will expand the scale of “One-To-One Commercial Alignments” in 2018 to organise special activities for different channels, and more accurately match the demands of exhibitors, according to the sampling survey report of The 97th China Food & Drink Fair 2017 Autumn Session. Meanwhile, the Summit Forum entitled “Golden Product and New Channel” will also highlight new retail topics and provide foreign enterprises with new concepts for their development in the Chinese market.
