Imported Food Area And IP Licensed Goods At The 98th China Food & Drinks Fair

After three days of activities, the 98th China Food & Drinks Fair concluded successfully in the Exhibition Center of Western China International Expo City, Chengdu on March 24, 2018. A number of records have been broken at the fair. The exhibition area totaled nearly 210,000 sq m. A total of 4,097 enterprises from around the world were attracted, tens of thousands of exhibits from more than 40 countries and regions were displayed, and visitors made a total of more than 400,000 visits there. Hence, it has become the fair with the most visits and largest exhibition area in the history.

National And Regional Pavilions Yield Fruitful Results At The Imported Food Pavilion

In the course of the Fair, pavilions from 8 countries and regions have participated in the exhibition of Imported Food Pavilion (Pavilion 3), including the United Kingdom, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Poland and Hong Kong. Moreover, over 200 famous enterprises, such as Enerlife, Youyijia, Sakale, CCITS, Mauxion, Suning E-commerce, Yonho, Ocean Spray, Amos Food, Top Flier, Uniconf, Sirma of Danone, Vinh Hoa and Nissin Food, have also participated in the Fair with their new products. At the first day of the Fair, all exhibition booths were crowded with both visitors and professional purchasers for consultation and business negotiation. As the pavilion premiering at the Fair, members of the UK Pavilion indicated that they would participate in the Fair with more local products of UK in the future, so as to expand the food market of second and third-tier cities of China.

It has attracted numerous food enterprises to make a discussion on topics like “Intellectual Property in Animation and Upgraded Licensing for Fast Moving Consumer Goods”, “Opportunities for Food Licensing under the Era of Consumption Upgrading” and “How to Demonstrate the Value of Brands through Intellectual Property”, enhancing visitors’ understanding of intellectual property and strengthening their confidence in food licensing industry.

Precise Matchmaking Is Conducted to Focus On The Market Of Second- And Third-Tier Cities Of China

As the most special activity of the Imported Food Area, the Business Matchmaking Conference has been held successfully for 9 times. More than 100 dealers and representatives of convenience stores from all over the country, invited by the Call Center of Shanghai MasterExpo Exhibition Co., Ltd., one of the organizers of the Fair, have participated in the “Dealer Meeting” and the “Small & Excellent Meeting” during the Fair. The 98th China Food & Drinks Fair shows the enthusiasm of food enterprises for their industry. From October 25 to 27, 2018, the 99th China Food & Drinks Fair will be held in Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center, giving food enterprises another opportunity to develop Changsha-based regional market of China!
