Cambridge Engineered Solutions, manufacturer of metal conveyor belts, has announced the expansion of its international presence with the addition of five new representatives from Australia/New Zealand, Denmark, India, Japan and Romania.
“These business partners give us an even stronger European network, particularly in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, while we continue to grow our reach and develop new territories in South Asia and along the Pacific Rim,” commented Tracy Tyler, Cambridge Engineered Solutions president and chief executive officer.
The expansion also broadens the company’s focus on supporting frozen food manufacturers and opens the door for added seafood processing.
Cambridge designs and fabricates metal conveyor belts for companies around the world in food processing (baking, beverage, meat, poultry and snack foods), agriculture, packaging and industrial manufacturing.
The new representatives include: 6 Sigma Foodtech, an equipment manufacturer based in Pune, India; Taiyo Wire Cloth, a Tokyo-based high-temperature belt manufacturer; Applied Industrial Technologies that has more than 40 branches/facilities/offices in Australia and New Zealand; Denmark-based DK Transporbaand who will offer conveyors for and support the seafood processing industry; and Scraba Technik of Romania, a solutions provider in the food and industrial sectors.
